Academy of Hellenic Paideia’s adult theater workshop “Logos & Praxi” presents “Η ΧΑΡΤΟΠΑΙΧΤΡΑ”, by Nikos Tsiforos, taught and directed by Ioanna Katsarou.

The Card Player is a warm and humorous satire of Greek family life, filled with clever misunderstandings, unforgettable characters, and the timeless song loved by generations.

Theatrical Workshop "LOGOS AND PRAXI" of the Academy of Hellenic Paideia
The theatrical workshop teaches techniques of improvisation, acting, orthophony and kinesiology exercises. Also at the end of the year, a performance by the students of the workshop is presented at the Timarete festival. Lessons are in the Greek language.
This year's performance was created through a series of improvisations of students on a specific thematic unit, with the care and guidance of the acting teacher/stage director Ms. Ioanna Katsarou.

A musical journey through the time from 1920 to 1950. Lets travel together back to Athens, all on board to the musical bus. Musicians, actors, vocalists, dancers and children there will be on stage for this unique show. A walk through old Athens, where song, love, and dreams danced beneath the lights.

Drama International Short Film Festival, based in Drama, Greece, is the premier short film festival in the region, attracting filmmakers and industry professionals every September. The festival spans six days, with screenings and events held at the Municipal Conservatory and Olympia Cinema. It serves as a gateway to prestigious short film awards and offers a platform for Greek and international filmmakers to showcase their work. In addition to the International Competition, the festival features interviews, book presentations, panels, and networking opportunities for professionals in the industry.
The DRAMA International Short Film Festival was founded in 1978 and has the following goals:
· The promotion and dissemination of the art of cinema and especially the short film in Greece and abroad.
· Developing the spirit of friendship and cooperation among filmmakers from all over the world.
· Organize in September each year the Greek Short Film Festival and International Short Film Festival.
· The organization of screenings of Greek and foreign short films, film trips, relevant seminars, conferences, lectures, debates, music concerts, theater performances throughout the year, in Drama, Greece and abroad.
· The collaboration with similar actors in Greece and internationally for the encouragement and development of the short film.
